June 5th is U.N. World Environment Day. The day was set aside in 1974 for celebrating our natural environment and creating an awareness of global environmental issues.Now 43 years later, unless your name is Donald Trump, it’s pretty hard to deny that we’re taking agiant step into a global climate crisis where the developed part of the world will get its just desserts and the undeveloped part of the world will get those same desserts.

to the people who parked their white pickup truck on the right hand side of the road in between the BC Liquor Store and the Arena last Saturday. There were marks on the ground clearly stating ‘No Parking’ and you were blocking the right half of the road. Leaving your car there could have led to a fender bender or worse. Please observe next time before you decide to make the world your parking space.
