RCMP continue to investigate the death of a 30-year-old man from Invermere who was found dead in a 5th Avenue driveway.
At around 1:30 p.m. on April 3rd, police were notified by the B.C. Ambulance Service that a man had been discovered deceased, lying in the driveway of a home in the 1100 block of 5th Avenue, Invermere.
The man has been identified as Cory Jarock of Invermere.
RCMP have released little information about the incident, but stated in a report that Mr. Jarock had been evicted from a drinking party the previous evening and was found by the residents of the property the next morning in the driveway of the property.
The investigation is ongoing and further details will be reported in next week’s Pioneer.

Cory was a good guy and i will really miss him.
This is a tragedy, and the fact that the news is not reporting the whole truth is even more tragic.
The Jarock family is an amazing, resilient family and justice will be served for this tragidy.
I send all of my love to everyone who was fortunate enough to have Cory be a part of their life.
Cory and his father Dave have done a lot of work for us. He was a nice young man and a good painter. Our hearts go out to his parents Dave and Shirley, and Cory’s brothers. Whatever happened, he did not deserve this.
To Dave, Mike and the Jurock family, my deepest condolences. I did not know Cory but I know the two of you. This has got to be a tremendous shock. Please know that many, many people are thinking of you, suffering in silence with you. My heart is with you all.
