The family and close friends wish to announce the passing of Fred Rauch at the age of 76 years in Columbia House in Invermere. Left to cherish his memory are sisters, June (Bernie) Beninger, Effie Parson; brothers George (Iris) Rauch, Clarence (Josie) Rauch, John (Marion) Rauch, Edward (Joyce) Rauch and several nieces and nephews. Fred was predeceased by parents Mystle and Ferdinand Rauch as well as sister Dorothy Franson and brother Alvin Rauch. Fred was an active member of the Lake Windermere Rod and Gun Club as wll as with the Columbia Valley Royal Range Patrol. Fred is at peace with the many loving dogs he had throughout his life. A celebration of Fred’s life will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion, Windermere District Branch 71 in Invermere, BC on Saturday, August 28th, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. The family and friends would like to thank the staff at Columbia House for the care that Fred receieved during his stay at Columbia House.
