9 a.m. – 12 p.m.: Lions Club Walk-a-Thon fundraiser for the East Kootenay Foundation for Health. Pledge-a-Lion ($ for km) toward the combined goals of 232 km and

2 – 5 p.m.: 2014 Pig Out. Local food, prepared by local chefs, served in the fields of Edible Acres at Winderberry Nursery. Fundraiser for Slow Food Columbia Valley. Music by The OSullivan Band and Smarty Pants. Tickets $45/slow food members, $55/adults, $35/kids 7 – 12 years. Free for kids under 7 years. Cash Bar.
