8 a.m.: Nipika Toby Creek Nordic Loppet Weekend, classic races on Saturday with skate races Sunday the 29th. Barbeque and awards ceremony after the race at the Nipika Day Lodge. BBQ is included with race registration and additional tickets can be purchased on site. 8 a.m. – 3 p.m.: 17th Annual Kinsmen Fishing Derby, registration at 8 a.m. at The Station Pub, derby starts on Lake Windermere at 9 a.m. Tickets $35. Lots of prizes!
