The #BuyBasin Festival happening three times a week on Facebook Live continues until April 27, featuring more than 100 businesses, artists and creators from the Columbia Valley region.

Every Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, tune in for a behind-the-scenes glimpse and learn about the talented entrepreneurs and passionate artists who live, work and pursue their passions in your backyard.

April 20, 11 a.m. PT, – Fernie Forge, Eye of the Needle – Fernie

Meet artisan extraordinaire, Sandra Barrett who handcrafts decorative and functional works of metal art at the Fernie Forge, Eye of the Needle artisans and studio space.

She’ll be broadcasting her Facebook Live session on April 20, at 11 a.m. Barrett will share her passion for blacksmithing and talk about her most recent commission, “Balancing Act.” The piece is currently on display at the The Fernie Arts Station. April 23, 5 p.m. Purcell Golf, Kimberley

If you like you like your golf game with a few challenges and amazing mountain scenery thrown into the mix, then you need to check out Purcell Golf. Located in Kimberley, the golf course, caters to all level of golfers with a fairly priced family pass, season passbooks and student discount rates.

During its Facebook Live broadcast on April 23 at 5 p.m., you’ll find out more about Purcell Golf and what to expect during the upcoming season. You can check out their Facebook page here to learn more.
