David Thompson Secondary School is proud to host this year’s Junior Boys East Kootenays Zone Basketball Tournament on February 9-10.
The junior Lakers are coming off a previous win in their Kimberley tournament where they played a spectacular game and came out victorious with a lead of over 40 points.
The public is encouraged to come out to show their support and cheer on the home teams this weekend. The boys play their first game at 12:30 p.m. on Friday and later that evening (at 6:30 or 8 p.m) depending on their performance.
