cheers and more cheers to all the good people who helped with the fire at Delphine Lodge. Everlasting thanks to Mary for raising the alarm and returning with chicken soup for lunch. Soup never tasted so good or was more appreciated. A round of applause to Curtis who arrived with a hose and ladder and kept the flames under control until the fire trucks arrived . . . Three cheers to numerous good folks who rescued our beloved books. Hip hip hurrah and hats in the air to our wonderful volunteer firemen for dousing the flames and saving a heritage building.
