Invermeres Groundswell Network Society is one of 15 finalists in the BC Hydro Community Champions Program and is seeking online support to win $10,000 that will go toward supporting their programs and projects.

This goes a long way at Groundswell, said executive director Bill Swan. Were getting it done across a wide range of community-directed sustainability program, projects and events.

Five non-profit organizations from across B.C. will be selected and awarded $10,000 for their valuable community work.

Online public voting decides the winners and votes can be cast every day (one vote per person per day) until November 30th.
