The peaks of The Lieutenants (west of Jumbo Mountain) stand out amidst a sea of alpine wildflowers in this July 2011 shot taken from Jumbo Pass by Invermeres Cori Gadomski, who recently won the prize for Best Overall Photo with this entry in Wildsights Jumbo photo contest. Ms. Gadomski, whos made multiple trips to the area, described it as a rewarding scene to stumble upon.
