Dear Editor:

Regarding the Letter to the Editor Lets all share watershed governance in your July 13th edition, there were no inaccuracies in my letter of last week (Watershed governance belongs to the province).

Ms. Verboom asked for opinions on who should be involved in watershed governance. I stated my opinion that the provincial government should be the ONLY agency involved in this and should not be trying to divest itself of this important responsibility.

In my opinion, special interest groups should not be involved in the decision making process at all. We already pay bureaucrats to deal with this. We dont need yet another level of individuals paying itself with money from grants to create yet another layer of bureaucracy.
