Mountain Heart Hub Columbia Valley Inclusion is a new and growing organization in Invermere that welcomes and supports adults with diverse abilities throughout the valley!

We are relatively new in town, having just opened last May (2021).  We are administered by Interior HomeCare Solutions and funded by Community Living B.C. (CLBC) through a client referral system. CLBC is an organization and crown corporation which has been operating for many years. They support families and individuals through service providers, community, and government partners.

At a number of our community partners’ establishments, we provide community connection and inclusion through some activities and opportunities such as: volunteering, involvement in projects and events, and life-skills building activities.

We would like to thank our partners for the opportunities and experience that they provide to our clients. Thanks also for their continued support in providing individuals with acceptance and participation in learning and working opportunities.

If there are agencies or organizations who would be interested in having our friends participate in events or for work support, we are always open to connection and collaboration.

Our center is located at 1106, 7th Avenue, Invermere, where we gather and participate in our day program, which often includes cooking, games, movies, arts and crafts, etc. Transportation to the space and other locations may be available.

We are planning more exciting activities and day trips for Spring and Summer, as well as an Open House! To find out more about Mountain Heart Hub Columbia Valley Inclusion and what we offer, please feel free to contact us at 250-409-4422, Monday to Thursday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Let’s root for each other and watch each other grow!
