Three Torontonian comics are touring across Canada this winter, and theyve appropriately titled their show the Weather Permitting Tour, attempting to navigate their way in an imported sedan.

The trio is made up of Michelle Christine, Andrew Barr and Michael Flakmank. Theyll be bringing their jokes to the Great Hall at Panorama Mountain Resort on Wednesday, December 17th.

You can find a funny thought on just about anything. What makes a comic unique is that they have an interesting perspective on life, Michelle said. Which is why you often find them funny, because they make you think about something in a way that youve never thought of it before.

Michelle, Andrew, and Michael rotate the order of their performances each night. Their styles differ slightly and all compliment one another, Michelle said.

Im a woman, so I take a females perspective. Andrew Barr talks about things in a short, concise way. He went to the Humber College Comedy Program and has great structure to his jokes he knows the fundamentals of why comedy works.

She said Michaels jokes are presented in a longer form, often to do with observational humour. She mentioned how the crew was culture-shocked to see Canadian Tire stores in Western Canada advertising the sale of guns and ammo.

Not something Canadian Tire would advertise in Toronto. City folk are sort of sheltered from that lifestyle.

Michelle said theyre excited to perform at a ski resort, as their jokes tend to do well among the mountain life culture.

Young crowds out to have fun, liberal viewpoints, the same sort of laid back mentality we have. People who come to snowboard dont usually have a uptight attitude.
