George Stanley Bartz (Stan)

March 13, 1932 – July 24, 2023

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of George Stanley Bartz (Stan). He passed away in the Invermere District Hospital after a lengthy battle with kidney disease.

He is survived by his loving wife Pat and three daughters, Stacey(Andrew), of Mexico, Carrie(Ed) of Chilliwack and Kelly(Brian) of Bellingham WA; grandchildren Erin and Avery Froese(Chilliwack) and Grace and Frances Porteous of Bellingham WA; three stepchildren Susan of Sicamous, Christopher(Jill) of Fairmont, Leslie LaRiviere(deceased) and grandchildren Melissa, Nikki, Josh, and Matthew, great grandchildren Emma, Jaida and Ben; brothers Ron(Evelyn), Bob(Donna) of Kelowna and Bill(Gladys) of Edmonton; two sisters Marion German and Evelyn Bartz of Edmonton.

This man will be sorely missed by all.
