Dennis Garry Horvath, born in Lethbridge, Alta. and raised in Radium, passed away at his home in High River, Alta. on Monday, May 24, 2010. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy (nee Engdahl); son Dennis (Rebecca); daughter Faye and his grandchildren: Clayton and Robert; and his sister and brothers: Margaret, David (Marie), Paul (Kathy). Dennis was predeceased by his parents, Paul and Margaret Horvath.

Dennis grew up in Radium and despite moving to Alberta for work, he always called the valley his home. He was an avid hunter and fisherman for most of his life, he greatly enjoyed being outdoors either alone or with friends and family. He was a true individual; he didn’t care about his outward appearances right down to the holey T-shirts he wore. But anyone who knew him knew he had a heart of gold under his gruff exterior.
