Henry Charbonneau
With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Henry Charbonneau of Invermere, B.C at the age of 91. Henry passed away peacefully on March 26th with his wife by his side. We will miss his loving, kind and gentle spirit.
Henry was born in Battleford, Saskatchewan on January 28th, 1927 to Telesfore and Elise Charbonneau and was the thirteenth of fifteen children.
Henry met the love of his life, Grace Noland in 1953 and they were married in Invermere, B.C. on April 2nd, 1955. Together, they raised three children.
Henry was a true family man, a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle and friend; A true gentleman.
He leaves to mourn his wife Grace of 63 years; daughters Deb Hickey (Bob) and Terry Geraets (Louis); grandchildren Chad Potter, Jodi Lippert (Matthew), Julian and Adriaan Geraets; great-grandchildren Jude Potter, Adison and Ethan Lippert; and one sister, Bea.
He was predeceased by his son Darren, his parents and thirteen siblings. He loved the great outdoors, camping and taking his children to their favourite fishing hole, and spending quality time with his grandchildren. He will be truly missed by all.
The family would like to thank Ivy House and all the staff for the wonderful care he received.
At Henry’s request, there will not be a funeral service. There will be a family celebration this summer.
