Ina was famous for her cooking she spent years cooking around the Valley, including Jesses in Radium Hot Springs, and Skookum Inn in Windermere. She made some of the best buns and soups with homemade noodles, she was always a phone call away when we needed a recipe, but never much help as she didn’t follow recipes herself.
Ina always had candies, chocolates, or homemade goodies and an ice-cold beer for her visitors, often sending her guests home with something she had made.
Ina had a passion for cards, Rummy, Gin or Dice and really enjoyed the odd trip to the Casino to see if she could turn her twenty into hundreds. You could always find her at home, reading a good book, or visiting with her dear friends.
Ina will be deeply missed by her family and friends. A celebration of life for Ina will be held in mid-June.
