Kimberley Margaret Fraser

Kimberley Margaret Fraser passed away suddenly on January 8, 2020 at the age of 35 years, in Kailua Kona, Hawaii.
Kim was born in Calgary, Alberta on June 18, 1984, and lived in Invermere for the first 13 years of her life. She attended Eileen Madson and J. Alfred Laird Elementary Schools where she began her lifelong love of dance and playing the ukulele.
In 1997 she moved with her parents to Hawai’i, where she became a model and a dancer, while completing her High School Education. Her greatest loves were her son Kolbe (born in 2002), her family, her close friends, her cats, traveling, and helping foster care children.
Kim was an advocate for domestic violence victims, as well as bringing awareness of the issue to the community.
She is survived by her son Pvt. Kolbe Samuel Welser, her parents Michael and Beverly Fraser, and many aunts, uncles and cousins in both Canada and Australia, as well as many friends around the world.
A celebration of Kim’s life will be held on October 9, 2020 in Kailua Kona, HI. Condolences may be sent to Mike and Bev Fraser, P.O. Box 807 Kailua Kona, HI 96745.
