Kevin May, passed away on Tuesday, February 25, 2025, at the age of 95 years, in Calgary, AB, where he served for 33 years with the Calgary Police Service. Born in London, England, he immigrated to Canada in 1949. Kevin met and married Marjorie Shilling in October 1954.
He was affable and had cherished friendships from many walks of life. He was also fiercely competitive, stubborn, and steadfast; qualities that defined his character and upheld his resilience throughout life’s challenges. Kevin was an avid gardener and generous with his tomatoes and cucumbers, which were a hot commodity. He also loved to golf, to count every stroke, and amassed a total of five holes-in-one.
Kevin is survived by his son Kevin (wife Michelle) and his two grandchildren Geoff (wife Lindsey and children Beckett and Kaiden) and Kelli (husband Rory and children Ellise, Lewis, and Etta). He is predeceased by his wife, Marjorie and his daughter, Leslie.
He is loved beyond measure and will be deeply missed.
