The BC Wildfire Service has been busy actioning the Horsethief Creek fire by utilizing water bombers.
Planes have been dipping into Lake Windermere to fill up, therefore, the boating public is advised to stay away from the area. The fire has grown to approximately 966 hectares, and evacuation orders and alerts remain in place.
