Brent Frederickson
Much-loved Radium resident, Brent Frederickson, passed away at home on Tuesday, January 18th.
A Radium council member for the past twenty years, and the owner of Radium Esso and Invermeres Lake Auto, Brent was a devoted father, husband, and grandfather, and a pillar of his community.
Brent was recently recognized in the December 17th issue of The Pioneer for his long-standing service to the Village of Radium.
Brents wife, Jacque, worked alongside Brent for years, building Radium Esso into a bustling, friendly stop for visitors and locals.
Brent has three children, Lainey, Laura, and Logan. He recently welcomed his first grandchild, Theodore, from Lainey and her husband, Steve Wilson.
The Pioneer extends our deepest condolences to the family.
A service for Brent will be held on January 29th. More details will follow in next weeks edition. Anyone wishing to donate in Brent’s honour can do so to the Village of Radium’s volunteer Fire Department, or to a David Thompson Secondary School scholarship in Brent’s name. Donations to Radium’s Fire Department can be made out to the Village of Radium Hot Springs, and donations to the scholarship fund can be made out to Jacque Frederickson. Both can be dropped off at the Village of Radium’s office at 4836A Radium Boulevard. Please clearly label any donations.
