The Columbia Valley Rockies played the Division-leading Beaver Valley Nitehawks on Friday night. After the first period, the Rockies were down 1-0, but goals in the second by Cole Brock and Jakob McLean on a power play had them leading 2-1 after the second period. Then early in the third period, Beaver Valley tied it up. When in this back and forth penalty ridden game, Cole Brock scored for a second time to put the Rockies ahead again. With less than five minutes to go, Beaver Valley tied it 3-3. At 4:33 in OT, Kayde Kinaschuk scored the winning goal. The Rockies win 4-3 and get the valued 2 points in a road game. 

On Saturday night, the Rockies played the Grand Forks Bruins in Grand Forks. Again, the Rockies got off to a slow start, being behind after the first period, 1-0. Both teams scored in the second period, with Dylan Malarchuk scoring on a power play for the Rockies. The score at the end of the second was 2-1 for the Bruins. Then in the third period, the Rockies came alive, scoring five goals. Tyson Tisdale scored in the first minute, and then Kayde Kinaschuk scored in the second minute. Right after that, Jonah Fournier scored in the third minute, putting the Rockies ahead 4-2. Vaugh Strutt and Kyle Shoemaker finished the scoring for the Rockies with the final scored Rockies 6-Bruins 3. The Rockies had 57 shots on goal.  The Rockies now lead the Eddie Mountain Division by 3 points.
