The latest incarnation of the ever-popular Saftas restaurant is now open. Saftas began existence as a falafel cart at the farmers markets, expanded to a summer-only restaurant in Radium Hot Springs, with another summer-only restaurant following in Invermere, and is now a full-time year-round restaurant and pub on Invermeres main street in the 1920s heritage house that was home to McToogles for almost ten years until this past September. Saftas owners KD and Roi Golan opened the doors to their new place earlier this month with pub and kitchen hours of 4 p.m. to midnight on Wednesdays through Sundays. Photo by Steve Hubrecht
