Id like to make one thing clear. I think the provincial government is doing exactly the right thing by keeping away from the Columbia Valley Recreation Advisory Council.

This group is a Wildsight initiative and is populated largely by Wildsight members. It does not enjoy broad-based community support, despite what organizers say. Now its trying to forge ahead with several key participants no longer at the table.

This is not about recreational access. Its about back country closures, particularly to motorized users. Recreational groups have nothing to gain and everything to lose by participating in this process which has no government recognition.
