The Royal Canadian Legion (Windermere district) has recognized a couple of students from David Thompson Secondary School for their writing and artistic talents.
Legion representative Jerry Meadows reported that Charlotte Gorman won first place in the senior essay category, while Noah Phelps won first place in the senior black and white poster category.
Meadows recently presented the students with certificates honouring their talents.
